Satisfactory server hosting — live

Satisfactory server hosting
sized for the factory, not the player count.

Satisfactory memory grows with what you build, not how many people are online — a solo megabase can outweigh a four-player early game. We measured a fresh server at about 0.4 GB empty and roughly 3 GB with a young save loaded, then priced from 6 GB so your factory has somewhere to go. Guaranteed dedicated RAM on a Ryzen 9 9950X, never oversold.

Satisfactory dedicated server hosting price: from $16.50/mo · 6 GB dedicated RAM · $2.75/GB · AMD Ryzen 9 9950X · never oversold

The number that matters
is how much you have built.

We measured an empty server and a loaded one. The gap is the whole story.

01 — factory, not players

Slot counts tell you nothing here.

A Satisfactory server’s memory is set by machine and belt count, not by how many people are connected. That makes "supports 8 players" a meaningless number on this game — which is exactly why we sell you a RAM figure instead and let you size it to your build.

02 — measured both ends

0.4 GB empty, ~3 GB loaded.

We installed the dedicated server, booted it with no world, then with a save, and read both numbers off the process. Starting at 6 GB is not padding — it is the headroom a factory needs before it starts fighting you in the late game.

03 — honest about settings

No fake panel fields.

Satisfactory has no server settings file — it is configured through the in-game Server Manager, and that is how we hand it to you. Other games in our lineup get every setting as a labeled panel field; this one genuinely does not work that way and we are not going to pretend otherwise.

How much RAM does a Satisfactory server need?

We measured a Satisfactory dedicated server at roughly 0.4 GB before any world was loaded and about 3 GB once a young save was running. The important part is what happens next: memory tracks factory size, not player count, so a long playthrough climbs steadily whether you play solo or with a group. 6 GB is a real starting point, 8 GB is where most serious playthroughs settle, and 12 GB is there for late-game megabases and mod stacks.

Bored of Satisfactory in three months? Your world still waits. Switch this server to any other game your plan has the RAM for — free, instantly, as often as you like — and your Satisfactory world stays exactly as you left it. Come back next year and it is still there, not reinstalled. Most hosts “switch” by wiping and reinstalling; a few charge you a stored slot for every world you want to keep. We keep them all, because each game writes to its own save area on your volume.

And if you would rather not choose: your RAM is a pool. Size up once and run Satisfactory and something else side by side on the same plan, with no second bill.

Straight answers, no pitch

Can I buy a Satisfactory server from you right now?

Yes. For a while we would not sell it — Satisfactory used to demand a fixed port that only one server per machine could hold, and we would rather not sell a game than sell it badly. That is solved now, and proven the way we prove things: two Satisfactory servers running side by side on the same machine, no collision, before the first one went on sale. From $16.50/mo for 6 GB, guaranteed dedicated RAM, no slot pricing, no setup fee.

How much RAM does a Satisfactory server need?

More as your factory grows. We measured a fresh server at about 0.4 GB before a world loaded and roughly 3 GB once a young save was running. The number tracks factory size rather than player count, which is why we start at 6 GB — a mature factory will use it.

Does player count change the RAM I need?

Barely. Satisfactory memory is driven by how much you have built — machines, belts, trains — not how many people are connected. A solo megabase can use more than a four-player early game.

How do I change server settings?

Through the in-game Server Manager today — Satisfactory has no server settings file to edit, so its settings live in the save and behind the server API the game itself uses. The server does expose them, so bringing them into the panel is our gap to close rather than a limit of the game, and we would rather say that than dress it up.

Can I move my existing save here?

Yes — upload your save through the panel file manager and load it from the in-game Server Manager. Downloading it back out is just as easy; your world is always yours.

Do you back up my factory?

Yes — nightly, automatically, off-site on a separate network, on top of Satisfactory’s own rotating autosaves. One-click restore from the panel.

Where are the servers?
