Enshrouded server hosting — live

Enshrouded server hosting
with all 64 settings built in.

On a dedicated server, Enshrouded's own in-game settings menu goes read-only and tells players to "use the server interface of the provider." This is that interface — every one of the game's 37 world settings, plus the full role system, a labeled field in your panel. We built it from the settings list the server itself writes — 64 labeled fields, each one changed and felt in-game on our hardware.

Enshrouded server hosting price: from $22/mo · 8—24 GB · 8 GB is the size we ship · up to 16 players — the game's own cap

From the team behind GamesOMG — the config tools players already use. Play more. Configure less.

Your Enshrouded dedicated server —
every setting a labeled field.

World settings, difficulty curves, loss rules, day length, the whole role system — the entire surface, in your panel:

01 — Built from the game's own list

Complete — and we checked

The server writes out its full settings list. We built our panel from it — 64 labeled fields. Every field changed, felt in-game, and cleanly reverted on our own hardware before we listed it. When the game tells players to "use the server interface of the provider," this is the interface it means.

02 — The full role system

Roles, not one password

Each role gets its own password — the one a player types at join decides their role. Inventory access, build rights, reserved slots: all labeled fields, per role. Kick and ban stay with Admin on purpose, so nobody can untick their own moderation rights and lock themselves out of their own server.

03 — No silent footguns

The Custom-preset trap, handled

Enshrouded silently ignores every custom setting unless the preset is set to Custom. Our panel handles that automatically — your changes always take. And nothing is one-way: every field shows the game's own default beside it and marks the ones you have changed, so putting a value back is reading one line, not hunting through a file.

Change a value in the panel, restart, it's applied. No config files. Ever.

The Enshrouded server you're actually renting.

The honest spec, stated plainly — no "premium hardware" hand-waving, no slot math. See the exact machine →

One honest size — and a cap we didn't invent.

Enshrouded caps at 16 players no matter who hosts it — we just say so out loud. The official footprint is about 4.4 GB idle plus ~100 MB per player, under 6 GB even at full slots. 8 GB is deliberate headroom, not a number we need you to need.

Bringing an existing world? Upload your savegame folder through the panel's file manager and keep playing where you left off — and it stays yours to download, always. During Early Access the game is PC-only; 1.0 (slated Fall 2026) is set to bring PS5 and Xbox, and we'll verify what that means for player-hosted servers the week it ships.

Bored of Enshrouded in three months? Your world still waits. Switch this server to any other game your plan has the RAM for — free, instantly, as often as you like — and your Enshrouded world stays exactly as you left it. Come back next year and it is still there, not reinstalled. Most hosts “switch” by wiping and reinstalling; a few charge you a stored slot for every world you want to keep. We keep them all, because each game writes to its own save area on your volume.

And if you would rather not choose: your RAM is a pool. Size up once and run Enshrouded and something else side by side on the same plan, with no second bill.

Enshrouded server hosting — straight answers

How much does Enshrouded server hosting cost?

From $22/mo — pick your size: 8 GB $22 (the size we ship), 12 GB $32, or 16 GB $41. Every size gets the game's full 16-player cap and all 64 settings. No player-slot pricing, no setup fee, no upsells.

Can I change settings after the server is running?

Any time — in your panel, with a restart. That's not a workaround, it's how Enshrouded works: on a dedicated server the game makes its own in-game settings menu read-only and tells players to "use the server interface of the provider." This is that interface. Change a field, restart, it's applied.

Is it really every Enshrouded server setting?

All 37 — and we can say that precisely because we checked it against the game itself. The server writes out its full settings list; we built our panel from it. Every field was changed, felt in-game, and cleanly reverted on our own hardware before we listed it. The full role system sits on top of that.

How do roles and passwords work?

Enshrouded doesn't have one server password — it has roles. Each role gets its own password, and whichever password a player types at join decides their role. Per role you control inventory access, build rights and reserved slots — all labeled fields in the panel. (Kick and ban stay with the Admin role and are not per-role toggles, so nobody can accidentally lock themselves out of their own server.) "Friends can build, visitors can look" is a couple of fields, not a config file.

How many players can join my server?

Up to 16 — that's Enshrouded's own hard cap, and it's the same on every host. Anyone selling you a bigger Enshrouded slot count is selling slots the game can't fill. Our one plan covers the full 16.

Are mods supported?

Yes — community mods, the unofficial way. Keen hasn't shipped an official mod API yet, but there's an active scene on Nexus Mods (mostly quality-of-life tweaks), loaded through community DLL loaders like Shroudtopia and EML. On your server, turning mods on installs and wires up the Shroudtopia loader for you; you drop the mod files into the mods folder and restart. One honest caveat: some mods are server-side and apply to everyone automatically, while others need each player to install the matching files locally too — the mod's own page tells you which. And whatever you run, your RAM is a hard, dedicated slice and your CPU share is sized to your plan, so your ticks stay yours no matter who else is on the machine.

Can I move my existing Enshrouded world here?

Yes — upload your savegame folder through the panel's file manager and keep playing where you left off. It works the other direction too: your world is always yours to download. Exit insurance, included.

Do you back up my Enshrouded world?

Yes — every night, automatically, to off-site storage on a separate network from your server (Cloudflare R2). You get last night's copy, two more we take for you before any game update, and three slots you fill yourself — six restore points, any of them one click to roll back or download, no ticket, no waiting. On by default, no extra cost, nothing to configure.

Does my Enshrouded server restart on its own?

Only if you want it to. We built one-click scheduled restarts into the console — off, daily, or every 12 hours, at a time you pick in your own local time — so a long session never leaves the world sluggish and nobody has to remember. Crash-restart is on by default too, so a server that falls over comes back on its own, and you can always hit restart yourself.

Where are the Enshrouded servers located?

NA East (Montreal) — on an AMD Ryzen 9950X with NVMe storage, a DDoS-protected network, and a single direct game port (no proxy hops). One location today; more regions when enough people ask.

Why 8 GB — how much RAM does an Enshrouded server actually use?

The official footprint is about 4.4 GB idle plus roughly 100 MB per player — under 6 GB even at the full 16 slots. 8 GB is deliberate headroom, not a number we need you to need. One honest size instead of a ladder of tiers to guess between.

Will my server be ready for Enshrouded 1.0?

Yes. We publish each new build to the node and the panel offers it in one click — or turn auto-update on and each new build lands on the nightly sweep (switching it on updates and restarts the server right then, so it isn't a switch that looks broken). Leave it off and your build stays pinned so a patch can't land under your mods. Either way we re-verify the full settings surface against each patch on our own hardware — 1.0 (slated Fall 2026) gets that treatment the week it ships. On consoles: Early Access is PC-only; 1.0 is set to bring PS5 and Xbox, and we'll verify exactly what that means for player-hosted servers at launch rather than promise it now.
